Our Favorite Apps For National App Day

December 11 is National App Day, so we thought it would be appropriate to share the team's favorite social media and content apps with you.

Here's how we breakdown—there are some expected faves and some that are a little more unique. Check them out, and leave a comment on YOUR favorite app.

Jesse Animated Bitmoji

JESSE GLADE - ART DIRECTOR

I've got to go with Snapchat. It's almost become my go-to, even over text messaging when contacting people. It's quick, fun, and has some entertaining features like Bitmoji.

YouTube LogoISAAC ROCHESTER - WRITER

I'd say mine is YouTube. I'm a very visual learner, so it's my platform of choice for learning and discovering new topics. (We can verify that Isaac can pick up almost anything if there's a quick video walking through it.)

Instagram LogoJESSICA SIMONS - ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR

Instagram is by far my favorite. It’s an easy way for me to post updates on my life (aka baby photos) and keep up with friends, family and brands I care about without having to scroll through all of the junk I don’t want to see. *cough* Facebook *cough*

500 px Logo

Rich Mackey - Managing Partner

One of my favorites is 500px. For me, it's like a highly curated Instagram for photographers. There are extremely high quality photos across all genres of photography that goes far beyond the "snapshot."

Medium Logo

TRENTON HICKS - WEB DEVELOPER

My favorite social media app is Medium. I love the design of the app as well as the high quality content. It’s rare that I’m not able to find really interesting curated content by exploring the app’s home section.

Twitter Logo

SKYLER BAUER - DIGITAL & SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

I go old school. Twitter is my favorite. This micro blogging landscape remains undefeated in my eyes. The character limit allows the feed to remain clean and easy to digest. The time length limit insures that visual content is impactful and to the point. I believe Twitter users do a great job championing good content and influencers by the use of the infamous RT action and Quote feature. At the end of the day, if you share relevant, timely, and overall good content on twitter, the twitter verse will reward you.
