HubSpot keeps expanding its lineup of AI tools, and while many are impressively helpful, it can still be tricky to figure out which ones fit into your day-to-day workflow, especially when you’re already juggling 37 open tabs and running on your third latte.

Here’s the quick step-by-step:
1. Start a new marketing email in HubSpot, then click the “Collaborate with Copilot” prompt in the editor.
2. You’ll be asked what your email is about. This can be as simple as:

4. The tool will generate a draft right inside your email editor. You can immediately tweak, regenerate or accept it.

We decided to use the AI to draft an email that introduces Antidote 71 and our services, aimed at potential clients who might be curious about what we do.
Because writing your own about-you pitch is notoriously hard (ironic, right?). It was the perfect way to see if HubSpot’s AI could capture our voice–energetic, honest and a little cheeky.
The AI spit out a pretty decent first draft that was a bit generic (lots of “we’re passionate about helping businesses grow!”). We used it as a skeleton, then layered on our own voice.
We ended up with a final version that was shaped by the AI’s structure, but very much sounding like us.
So, would we use it again? Absolutely–with caveats.
